About the Journal

JMEDUSCI is the Journal of Management and Educational Sciences, founded by Mahmut Karakaya. The journal published its first issue in 2022 as an international peer-reviewed journal, with four issues per year (March, June, September, December). The JMEDUSCI Journal of Management and Educational Sciences was established to present original, unpublished articles and reviews across all fields of management and educational sciences from Turkey and around the world to the academic community.

Articles submitted to the JMEDUSCI Journal of Management and Educational Sciences are subsequently checked for similarity. Plagiarism checks are carried out using the İntihal.net or Turnitin software; the similarity rate must not exceed 20%. If the similarity index (SI) of the article exceeds 20% following the search, the article is returned to the relevant author(s) to be revised so that the SI falls below 20%. If the necessary corrections are not made, the article will be rejected.

Authors are deemed to have transferred the copyright of the works they submit for publication to the JMEDUSCI Journal of Management and Educational Sciences. Authors’ evaluations cannot be accepted as the official view of the journal. Full responsibility for the works lies with the authors. If an ethics committee report is required for research outputs, it must be stated that this report was obtained in relation to the study, and the committee report must be uploaded to the system. Should any misconduct related to research—such as plagiarism, citation manipulation, fabrication of data, etc.—be detected, the journal’s publication and ethical principles will be upheld. In such cases, the necessary procedures will be undertaken to prevent the publication of the work, to retract it, or to take other appropriate actions.

From the spring 2023 issue onwards, articles will be published using the international author identifier ORCID.

The journal team is working diligently to ensure our journal is indexed by national and international databases. The interest shown in our journal will encourage us in this direction.

Focus and Scope

JMEDUSCI is the Journal of Management and Educational Sciences, and its owner is Mahmut Karakaya. The journal evaluates original research in the fields of management, organisational behaviour, managerial behaviour, education and its sub-fields, and school management.

Peer Review Policy

Articles are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers using a double-blind peer review process. The average review period ranges from 4 to 6 weeks.
