Abstract

This research aimed to examine whether innovative work behaviors have an impact on individual performance, according to teachers' opinions. Relational screening model was used in the research. As a result of the research; Individual job performance and innovative work behavior levels were above average. According to teachers' perceptions; Women's perception of supporting the idea was higher than men. However, no statistical differences were found between age and professional experience groups regarding innovative work behaviors and individual job performance. As a result of another research; A statistically significant difference was found between the idea generation and implementation sub-dimension of innovative work behaviors and education level groups. In other words, it has been revealed that master's graduates' idea generation and implementation perceptions are higher than undergraduate graduates. Likewise, a statistically significant difference was found between the general scale of innovative work behaviors and the education level groups. Accordingly, it has been revealed that the general perceptions of idea-innovative business behavior of master's graduates are higher than those of bachelor's degree graduates. Additionally, it was revealed that the general perceptions of individual job performance of associate degree graduates were higher than those of bachelor's and master's degree graduates. Another result; The perceptions of those who received innovation training in the sub-dimensions of idea generation and implementation, idea support, and contextual sub-dimensions were higher than those who did not receive innovation training. Finally, there is a significant, moderate and positive relationship between innovative work behaviors and general dimensions of individual job performance. Additionally, teachers' perceptions of innovative work behaviors significantly predict their perceptions of individual job performance. Accordingly, it is understood that teachers' perceptions of the idea generation and implementation sub-dimension significantly and positively predict their individual job performance perceptions. In other words, a 100-unit increase in the innovative work behaviors dimension of teachers increases their perceptions in the idea generation and implementation sub-dimension by 36.3%. In addition, it is understood that teachers' perceptions of the intellectual support sub-dimension significantly and positively predict their individual job performance perceptions. In other words, a 100-unit increase in teachers' innovative work behaviors dimension increases their perceptions in the idea support sub-dimension by 10.4%.
