Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of the funds sent by the Ministry of National Education to schools on education. The phenomenological method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The study group of the research consisted of 12 school principals. According to the research results; The majority of school administrators stated that the funding largely meets school needs; It has been revealed that the funding and the targets largely overlap, and the school's most difficult expenses to cover are its financial expenses. In addition, it has been determined that when the funds are insufficient, support is requested from the provincial/district national education directorate for the solutions produced to meet the needs. On the other hand, he stated that there were maintenance and repair works at the school that could not be solved due to lack of budget; They stated that the problems related to the school budget were due to the inflexibility of the expenditure items of the funds allocated to the school by the Ministry of National Education. In addition, the Ministry of National Education is the person and institution most responsible for the problems arising from the budget at the school; that the way schools are financed should be covered by the state; They stated that an omnibus budget should be given to the school principal regarding the way in which the allowance is spent, and that expenditures should be at the initiative of the school principal, and that the effect of the allowances on education is positive.
