The aim of this research is to examine the concepts of poverty and corruption and reveal the relationship between them. To achieve this aim, document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. In the second part of the research, the concepts of poverty and corruption, public debt and their effects on the country's economy are included. As a result of the research, it was revealed that corruption affects economic growth, increases public debt and, as a result, has an impact on poverty. Corruption can be prevented by imposing harsh penalties within the scope of anti-corruption actions. Corruption can be difficult to detect, invisible, and often highly politicized; All of these can be detected with better indicators. Transparency is an important tool in controlling corruption, and this includes increasing transparency and disclosure in financial systems and controls.
